Groceries to do my weekly menu $6.51.
I purchased two white milk 1/2 gals for 2.00
I splurged and bought one chocolate milk for 1.00
and on Orange juice for 1.00. ( I never buy either )
I picked up some food storage.
Nine cans of Tomatoes for .49. 9x.49= 4.41
Five Hamburger Helpers for 1.00 each. but I had a coupon Buy 3 and get .80 off.
Had a coupon for $1.00 off for the magazine, which will be read by 4 women. So it cost me 2.99.
I then purchase a couple of items for my 72. hour kit. Rolaids reqular 3.89, with coupon 2.89.
Tylenol, 100 count was on sale for 5.99 and I had a 1.00 off coupon so I got them for $4.99.
A Few extras for Dell. Ocean Spray juice reg. 2.95 with coupon 1.95.
I stopped at the Day old bread store and bought a box of cupcakes, 1 loaf of bread and 1 pk of buns for Sloppy joes.
Total Spent $41.00. With coupons from the register I now have one for $3.00 off on Downey softner.
I shopped at Fred Myers because the 1/2 gallon milk was $1.00. So two 1/2 gal. cost me $2.00 and a gallon would have been 3.25. ?????
I could have saved more with out the few extras, but I felt that I had most things needed for my week menu and so I filled a few spots in Food storage and a few items for 72 hour kit.
Feeling Good about my choices.
